I wanted to see if you could answer why you signed your request here as Ajwysocki (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) who is currently indefinitely blocked? Syrthiss (talk) 17:38, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

to many user/passwords in my head, sorry about that, used the wrong user name.

Thats essentially the answer I expected. So far this version of you seems to be aboveboard on your contributions, so just a friendly reminder to not repeat the behavior that caused the Ajwysocki account to be blocked. Syrthiss (talk) 18:11, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will definitely not repeat that behavior, learned my lesson, thanks for the reminder and the prompt reply to my request!

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:TYTStudioTour.ogv. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 04:20, 19 March 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 04:20, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image uploads

[edit]

I have deleted your recent video uploads as copyrighted material with no evidence of permission from the copyright holder. Please review the copyright policy. Do not upload videos from TV shows or similar without evidence that permission has been given from the copyright holder for such material to be released under a free licence, and please specify the licence which they have agreed to. Evidence of permission should be sent to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Note that it is uncommon for the owners of TV programmes to release videos under a free licence. The Young Turks

[edit]

I've reverted your addition of a promotional video to the Young Turks page. Although a promo video isn't really encyclopedic, the main reason for the reversion was because it broke the format of the page. There's already a picture in place, the article doesn't need another one at the top of the page. Good luck! Dayewalker (talk) 03:27, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Video uploads

[edit]

I have re-deleted your video upload which was re-uploaded with no attempt to address the issues I gave earlier above. Copyright is taken seriously here and if you attempt to upload that same video again, with no regard for the copyright of others work, then I will block this account. Please stop. Camaron · Christopher · talk 10:00, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for for continuing to upload copyrighted videos in complete disregard to requests to stop. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Camaron · Christopher · talk 16:33, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would normally not block indef. as the first block for accounts that are not vandalism only, but given you have already had at least one account blocked indef., this being Ajwysocki (talk · contribs), I don't see why further chances should be given without a clearer commitment from you to follow Wikipedia policies and guidelines.
