WOP
I am going to revert your comments on Talk:Italians because they stem from a vandal's addition of coming from the Lating word vopus, meaning "man with curled hair." This stupid comment should have been reverted not hilighted on the talk page. I'm not questioning your comment directly- why give some idiot some creedence?? Cheers, Mariokempes (talk) 01:01, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for understanding. Mariokempes (talk) 01:05, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi there! Just a suggestion, if you want to get involved in a little controversy, check out your recent change to "List of Massacres" You might want to revert the revert of the revert of the (I've lost count here). Be warned . . .
Just FYI, I'm the guy who put in the first disclaimer which you reverted out and then reverted back in. I understand (I think) both actions. Thanks for thinking.67.161.166.20 (talk) 21:51, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
WEeeeel, technically I've got one. Just don't use it. IP,67,161,166,20. Guess I'm just not paranoid enough. I've got a gorgeous security system on this computer and otherwise just don't care. Thanks for the note. Always interesting to exchange greetings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by IP,67,161,166,20 (talk • contribs) 22:54, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
I'd be glad to coach you. We can begin whenever you are ready. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Happy editing! JW..[ T..C ] 02:05, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Skipping level
I know, but when the person inserts words like that, the level 1 warning that assumes the best isn't really appropriate. It's a tough call sometimes. Doczilla (talk) 01:17, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Your VandalProof Application
Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Pewwer42. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 17:24, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
I blocked the user who was vandalizing the most (User talk:67.42.16.231); should be okay now... if you have any more trouble, leave me another note. · AndonicO Hail! 23:14, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and I'll check your article soon (when I'm in the mood for copyediting, probably today or tomorrow :) ). · AndonicO Hail! 23:15, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

RE:Your John Hancock
Oh yeah, no worries. In actuality, I stole it myself, from User:Pedro. Since then I have seen at least three other users adapt versions of it as well. Cheers and happy editing, SorryGuy Talk 19:26, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Coaching
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I have been fairly busy of late. I have created a page to discuss your coaching. You can fnd it here. Please post all comments and questions there. Thank you and happy editing! JW..[ T..C ] 21:34, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Good work with the article. :) The only negative thing I can say is that the parts about the splitting were a bit confusing, but that's it. Nice job. · AndonicO Hail! 01:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I understood it, just hard to grasp it first time around. As for GA, it's certainly possible, but it would be difficult (only a certain amount of things you can say about a church, and it would be hard to find enough sources). · AndonicO Hail! 01:26, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: IP reverts
Hi, thanks for your comment. I'm afraid that won't work however. This guy has been harassing me since about May of last year; he uses dozens of different IPs to undo my edits, and changes them every few minutes. Blocking won't help; the only way to semi-protect the page for a short time, and undo any reverts he makes elsewhere. And he's not my only stalker. Isn't Wikipedia great? Parsecboy (talk) 15:50, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- No, he's definitely someone I met here. He used to be Labyrinth13 (talk · contribs). I got involved through a RfC to an article in which he was attempting to add links to videos he created. I sided with his opponents, as that is obviously self-promotion. He flipped out on the talk page, and became grossly incivil. I reported him for it, he was indefinitely banned, and he's been harassing me via dynamic IP ever since. It's usually only once every couple of months though; the last time was in late December; the troll was nice enough to wish me a Merry Christmas in some edit summaries. The problem with blocks is that he never uses the same IP twice, so it would be next to useless to try to block them.
- As for vanishing, I don't see the need for it. He's more of a petty irritant than anything else; my other "friend" is worse; having created 5 different impostor accounts. Thankfully, he hasn't been around since then.
- As for being an admin, for a long time, I didn't really want to be one. I've been considering it lately, but I'm still not sure if that's what I want to do. At least I'll have plenty to say for the "How have you handled disputes in the past?" question :) I am aware of my edit count, but that's not that important. Anyways, thanks again. Parsecboy (talk) 16:47, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think that would be good. I do think I could be more of an asset to the project if I were an administrator. Thanks a lot. Parsecboy (talk) 13:29, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

No problem, I've had that page watchlisted for a little bit, and also asked him just after you. If you would like to learn more about RfA, you might want to take a look here: User:MBK004/RfA for some good things. -MBK004 21:20, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Nousernamesleft
Hi, Pewwer42, thanks for voting in my RfA, which passed with 47 supports (I hoped for a perfect square, but two away is close enough!), 3 opposes (the first odd prime), and 0 neutrals. I'm glad the community has decided to trust me with the mop and bucket (the flamethrower isn't supported). Of course, special thanks goes to my nominators Auawise and that one guy who buried stuff (not that the thanks I give to the you isn't special!). If you ever need a hand with something, or just want to say hello, |
Thanks for nominating me
Thanks a lot for your confidence in me, and for nominating me for the mop. If you ever need help with anything, you know where to find me. Thanks again. Parsecboy (talk) 22:03, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Admin coaching request
You have previously expressed an interest in undergoing the Admin coaching program. We're currently engaged in a program reset to help things move more smoothly in the future. If you are still interested in the program, please go to Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Requests for Coaching and re-list yourself under Current requests, deleting your entry from Older requests. Also, double-check to make sure coaching is right for you at theCoachee checklist; WP:Adoption or WP:Editor review may be more appropriate depending on your situation and aspirations. We should get back to you within a day or so, once a coaching relationship has been identified. Thank you. MBisanz talk 06:56, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
