Hey there, I hope I can help explain it. There are two sites you can upload files to, either to Wikipedia here, or to the Wikimedia Commons. The Commons is good because images there can be used on different sites. So you say this photo was taken by someone else, but you have their permission? I think it would be best to just upload that to Wikipedia, where there is actually a form just for that situation on the upload page. It also requires you to forward an email stating as such to "permissions-en AT wikimedia DOT org". Then you just need to fill out the fields in the text box, and upload the file. If this was uploaded to Flickr or another photo sharing site, there are other rules for that. So let me know how it goes, and when you get it uploaded, I can check to see that its licensed right, and given categories and whatnot.-- Patrick, _oѺ^∞ 17:52, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
