Speedy deletion nomination of Very-extreme-hacking
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Very-extreme-hacking requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Very-extreme-hacking requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

Deleted article
[edit]I thought I'd explain why the page was deleted. The issue is that ultimately there is nothing out there to show that this program is currently notable enough to really merit an article on Wikipedia. Most programs never gain enough coverage to merit an article on Wikipedia, regardless of the reasons that the program was created. It also doesn't help that the article was written in a fairly promotional manner, as if it was posted here as an advertisement for VEH. This may not have been your intent, but it was still too promotional to be used. I also have to let you know that posting "Very Extreme Hacking & VEH are copyrighted and trademarked by EC-Council. Unauthorize use of the VEH term is prohibited." isn't really kosher on Wikipedia for two reasons. The first is that copyright/ownership over the program itself is always implied and expected in any page about any given product by a company or individual- there's no need to state it on the page itself and the only reason to mention ownership in this context is if the program/product is open source. It's just pretty much a given that unless the company specifically states that they will not charge for the product, that they own the product and any rights associated with VEH. The second reason is the more pressing and important issue of the two, as posting the copyright notice also implies WP:OWNERSHIP of the Wikipedia page and any content in the page. There's no ownership of articles on Wikipedia, so posting things of this nature is highly discouraged.
To be honest, I can't really find anything to show that this program would pass notability guidelines at this point in time, so I'd recommend that you not try to re-add an article about the program to Wikipedia. Things do not gain notability by existing (WP:ITEXISTS), so the only course of action at this point in time is to just wait and see if the program gains coverage from reliable sources (newspapers, reliable websites and the like).
