Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "PersistantFemmeSociety", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it seems to be that of a group. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 15:44, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've reverted your report at the edit-warring noticeboard. It was malformed (no big sin, it's hard to do some things on WP), and once I looked at the article in question there was no violation. Please read Wikipedia's discussion of edit-warring to gain an insight. Right now you're just being disagreed with, which is not edit-warring. Disagreement is entirely usual, and you are expected to work collegially with other editors to sort it out. However, I suggest that you resist the temptation to post walls of text, and you are expected to assume good faith, which you are kind of not doing right now. Thank you, I was meant to delete the report as I would rather work it out with the other editor. However to revert in that way with no explanation other than "limiting" is totally absurd considering how terrible the original article was. Are Wikipedia editors always this patronising? It's very difficult to assume good faith in such circumstances when someone is exhibiting a "take no prisoners attitude" PersistantFemmeSociety (talk) 03:17, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia editors can be lots more patronizing than that, especially since I don't really see that in Flyer's comments on the talkpage. Your comments could on the other hand be scaled back in length and tone. We understand it's a subject you're passionate about, but you appear to be seeing conflict rather than disagreement. The goal is to improve the article, not to win an argument. Please keep your comments concise and please try very hard to avoid personalizing discussion. And please remember that there are no deadlines here, you don't have to resolve everything tonight. Acroterion (talk) 03:34, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you.
