Editor has again broken the conditions of his "final change"/deal. Details here: User talk:Joe692#Deal. - eo (talk) 15:30, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New Deal

[edit]

Can you please let me edit my original talk page User:Greenock125 and let me explain exactly what I have done to be blocked along with why I cannot do it, and why I have created sockpuppets along with why it was wrong of me to do it. Please give me a chance I really want to be a part of Wikipedia. If you let me edit my original account I promise NEVER to create any more accounts ever again. Perks78 (talk) 15:36, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I promise to listen to any advice in the future. Perks78 (talk) 15:38, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I really want to use my original account again, I really do not want to create any more accounts any more. I honestly feel terrible about the whole thing and admit to all the accounts I have created and If my original account is unblocked I would like to be mentored, please take this offer seriously. Perks78 (talk) 15:54, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have consistently ignored everyone, even why saying that you will listen. By lying to us, you are running off people that are trying to help you, like myself. I will repeat my advice here, one more time, but this time I will be more clear:
You need to stop. I don't think you understand the damage you are doing by refusing to stop creating new accounts. When I tried to help you on User talk:Joe692, I was willing to believe that you would listen. You have completely destroyed my trust now. This is what lying does, and the more you do it, the harder it will become to come back. I will still support a return, but not now, and not in the eight weeks you (lying) said you would wait. Instead, I will make one more suggestion: For each and every sockpuppet and IP address you have used, take one week off from Wikipedia. I mean completely off, no visiting, no "just fixing a typo" nothing. I just counted, that is a total of 40 weeks. By my count, that break should end around 27 April, 2011. Then, and only then, you should e-mail an administrator and ask to be unblocked, or at least to have your talk page re-enabled so you can ask. If you do all of this, I honestly believe you will be unblocked. If you don't want to wait that long, I still suggest the more standard period of six months, so 27 January, 2011. People may not be willing to trust you by then, but it will at least be a good step.
On the other hand, if you insist on creating new accounts anyway, you will likely be Banned. If that happens, it is much, much harder to come back, and will likely never happen. I don't think you are quite there yet, but another few lies about trying to do better while going behind our backs and the community will likely get fed up with you, and make it more clear that you are not wanted here. Time Out

[edit]

I will take six months off Wikipedia and think about what you have said and I hope when I come back on the 27 January, 2011 that someone will trust me. I am so so so sorry about all the lies I have told in the past and promise never to lie again. Perks78 (talk) 17:43, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More socks found

[edit]

Turns out, upon further investigation, that User:Greenock125 is not even the original account, per Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Fila3466757 and Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Fila3466757 (2nd). I have since tagged all associated accounts as socks of Greenock125, since so many were already tagged as such, and to keep all socks in the same category, located at Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Greenock125. I don't doubt that there are more undiscovered accounts, and I am highly skeptical that this person is serious about reforming himself and contributing constructively. User:Fila3466757 was already banned, so I don't see why this person has been given so many chances, nor why anyone should be willing to offer another one. - eo (talk) 18:30, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am series about reforming myself and contributing constructively, please give me one FINAL chance. Perks78 (talk) 18:45, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have never heard of User:Fila3466757 before I do not know who he is. Perks78 (talk) 18:46, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You claim "I have never heard of..." every time you're busted for socking, so quite frankly, I don't believe you. However, if you actually do lay off for six months as you promised, perhaps you will be lucky enough to have an admin or admin(s) discuss your request and grant you an unblock. But until then, I would not open any more accounts or edit any articles or a permanent ban is certain. - eo (talk) 19:01, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you unblock me now I promise to listen to any of your advise, I know I lied in the past but I have changed and will always listen to you please give me a chance to prove myself. Perks78 (talk) 19:04, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am really series about being part of Wikipedia. Perks78 (talk) 19:06, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the problem. You have said this so many times, so often, that no one will believe you. Come back in six months, and just maybe someone will, but at this point you are closer to being banned than being unblocked. Sodam Yat (talk) 19:09, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You will not be unblocked now. Wait six months, and even then I guarantee nothing. Breaching this again will certainly lead to more frustration for you. I am removing editing rights to this page now, as this conversation cannot go any further at this time. - eo (talk) 19:10, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
