I am following up on my question regarding my user name. Hopefully since no there hasn't been any action since May, it means everything is ok. I have read the user name policy and I don't see what it is about the name PerformerResearcher that might not comply. I don't mind changing it, I am just not sure what to change it to without possibly raising the question again. I have read the user name policies and I when I looked at was acceptable, I am still unclear on what a good name is. I would have thought it would have been my real name, but the policy advises against that. It does give a list of questionable user names and I don't see this as fitting into any of those categories. I chose PerformerResearcher, because I wanted to focus my write ups and changes on Independent singer-songwriters. They are performers and I am doing the research for the article. Can you let me know what about it specifically is raising the question? I wasn't clear in my previous answer, but I am the sole user of this account. Also can you tell me what about the article that you may believe there is a promotional activity or conflict of interest? Again, if you can tell me specifically, I will be glad to change it. Link Question

Hello,

I am trying to link to a wiki page and I keep getting an error saying the page doesn't exist. However it does exist. I had created the new page from an existing page, but I took the link out by removing the brackets from the name page name until it was completed. Now I can't get the link to work again. I have tried to find within the code what could cause the problem and I am unsuccessful. Do I need to delete the page I originally created and start over again? I am confused. I thought I needed to make the naming of all the subpages to the main page to be consistent. I just followed the instructions on changing the name. I left the original note before I found instructions on changing the name, so I went ahead and made them figuring there are instructions for doing so in the help section. I see now that after reading the section regarding disambiguation that it's not about consistent naming of the subpages linked to a page.

I thought the change to permalink was in error. There was no intention on my part to vandalize. I am not quite sure what that means. My questions are: How do I know what changes are appropriate for me to make so I don't do something inappropriate again? and 2) How do I get the most recent changes I made to that page to be shown?
