Hi there, @Lingzhi: asked me to drop you a line and offer you my guidance. From what I hear you're interested in translating articles from one Wikipedia to another. If you plan on enriching English Wikipedia, a good place to start is Wikipedia:WikiProject Intertranswiki, you'll find plenty of info there. If it's the other way around, there's a handy (if outdated) page pl:Wikiprojekt:Tłumaczenie artykułów and a help page on how to translate to and from Polish Wikipedia at pl:Pomoc:Dla tłumaczy.
If you need technical advice, the easiest way to start translating is by using the mw:Content translation tool (it's a machine translation engine, complete with yandex.ru automatic translation service; the latter is optional and doesn't work that well for English). The Content Translation engine doesn't cope well with translating references, but it's easy to use and saves plenty of time. Alternatively, you could simply copy the code of one article to your sandbox, translate it manually, and then publish it in wherever you see fit (move it to the right place, or copy it over).
The most difficult and time-consuming task is translating references (as I mentioned above, Content Translation engine doesn't translate references well, and gets completely lost when citation templates ({{Cite book}}, {{Cite news}} and so on) are used. Fortunately, there's a handy tool for that as well. Open Konwerter szablonów, copy over the citation you need translated (be it English Wikipedia's {{Cite web}} or its' Polish equivalent {{Cytuj stronę}}), hit enter, and the entire citation template is translated automagically in no time.
