Mathematica to Wikipedia

[edit]

I have Mathematica 5.0. What is the best way to transform the *.nb to a format that Wikipedia understands. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pentti71 (talkcontribs) .

You can convert individual mathematica formulas to LaTeX using the mathematica command TeXForm. You may need to do some tweaking on them for Wikipedia to understand them in a few cases, but that's the best way of doing it I think. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 15:10, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Practical aids, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. License tagging for Image:Sammutin.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sammutin.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:08, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

This page helps cigarette smokers. The image is free to use.
