Your contributions need explaining on silicon nitride

[edit]

Although well-intentioned, your contributions to silicon nitride are worrying to Wikipedia because they violate the following guidelines: WP:SECONDARY, WP:UNDUE and probably WP:COI. You can check my user page to get some insights. Repeated citations of journal articles by one research group is unwelcome in general here. If you have questions leave a note here or at my talk page. Wikipedia is not a mechanism for you go gain attention for your research projects. Tens of thousands of publications appear annually, and Wikipedia has no interest in recording most of these, hence the guideline called WP:SECONDARY.--Smokefoot (talk) 21:40, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks for the note at my Talk page. We can discuss your situation here. It would be very nice to cite a review on Si3N4 for the application you mention. But the style of your contribution suggests that you are more interested in gaining attention for a research group vs helping readers. Suggestion: find a general review on the topic and write a few sentences. Do not cite a collection of papers by a research group. Let me know if you want to talk about this some more. With best wishes, --Smokefoot (talk) 21:39, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
