Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Payzaofficial, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Based on the replies below, I have concerns about this account's use and whether it'll be able to ever avoid COI on here. only (talk) 19:26, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless of the reason noted above, there is an additional issue: you're not supposed to edit articles about entities where you have conflict of interest. Even if you change usernames, you should only propose changes (with valid sources) on the article talkpage, and never edit the Payza or related articles directly the panda ₯’ 22:53, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As I have said in the talk section of the Payza article (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:Payza), since I took over this position we have not edited that page and do not plan to. This is a policy decision, we have no plans to edit the article although there certainly have been noteworthy developments at Payza in the past six months (see this article at coindesk for example: http://www.coindesk.com/payza-launches-bitcoin-buying-consumers-190-countries/). I'd appreciate a Wikipedia account so that we can continue to discuss this and other pages, and I'd appreciate someone not related to Payza taking the time to bring the Payza article up to Wikipedia's standards. There are not many companies in our space and it is important for interested parties to have a user-friendly resource where they can conduct initial research on Payza and our competitors. Uh, you're still using "we" a little too much for our comfort. Daniel Case (talk) 17:10, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This account is now my responsibility to manage and mine alone, however it should not surprise you that there are more than one interested parties at Payza (or at any company that appears or does not appear in wikipedia articles). From a business standpoint, whether you like it or not the nature of Wikipedia makes it possible for unscrupulous individuals to lie or distort the truth about their companies or their competitors, in the hope of gaining a competitive advantage, which is why there are several people here concerned with monitoring the page that discusses our company. At Payza, we have always been transparent on Wikipedia, any of this site's rules we may have broken have been unintentional and in no way malicious.
