Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Paynejl1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Wikipedia and homework

[edit]

I and my colleagues would be glad to help you and your fellow students with the 19F NMR article, but we do not typically submit to inexperienced editors just because yours is homework assignment. We have a job to do in Wikipedia, and part of that job is writing concisely and in a certain tone. If you wish to discuss aspects, please leave a note on the Talk page and we can help you. I realize that this aspect is a little frustrating. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:07, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
