Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Wine. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.
Please be careful to provide a factual edit summary. The edit summary for your addition of the link said "fixing grammar" which is not what what you actually did. --Bonadea (talk) 12:47, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ditto to that. With a newly created account, with this as your only edit, you were adding an external link which does not pass WP:EL the day after another used was warned for adding it, and you obviously tried to hide what you did with a "false" edit summary. Obviously working by proxy/sock puppet this time? Repeating that will definitely get you blocked! Tomas e (talk) 13:17, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Wine, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well potentially being penalized by search engines. --Bonadea (talk) 08:57, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]- Using fake edit summaries to deceive editors earned you that block. I ponder adding your website to the global spam blacklist. -- lucasbfr talk 09:28, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
