- Hey thanks for the shout-out! I need help with something - how do I copy and paste citations into an article? PatHamilton47 (talk) 14:19, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- @PatHamilton47, Help:Footnotes may help you get started. If you get stuck you can ask on Wikipedia:Teahouse, make your question there as specific as possible with an example if possible.
- I will ping @I dream of horses, maybe they can answer your question directly. However I thought they could be asleep in the barn so I jumped in instead. Commander Keane (talk) 01:33, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- One way to use a reference multiple times in one article is to use visual editor; you can press the "cite" button towards the top and then click on the "reuse" tab. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 02:47, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
Apology for misclick
[edit]Hi there PatHamilton47, I'd like to apologize for reverting your comment at Wikipedia talk:Requests for page protection – it was an accidental misclick from a button on my watchlist, and I reverted myself as soon as I noticed. - @Dylan620 (talk page watcher) If it reassures you any, I have an unusual amount of both years experience and number of edits to my name, and I still, on occasion, make mistakes like this. It happens to everyone! I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 19:22, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
