Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, Parimoreentertainment. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

Romeo Lacoste[edit]

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia. Many thanks for your comments on the article about Romeo Lacoste. The article was deleted earlier this month as it does not meet Wikipedia's guidelines for biographies of living people, which can be found here. In a nutshell, all claims about a person must be sourced from independent, reliable sources. Independent reliable sources are recognised editorials, books or magazines. Blogs, communities or user-generated e-zines are generally not recognised as reliable source. Furthermore, notability needs to be established by showing that the subject is widely covered by a diverse set of media over a period of time. I'd also like to stress that notability is not inherited. There have been a number of articles about celebrity hairdressers, celebrity interior decorators, etc. which in the end were deleted as the subjects themselves were not widely covered by independent media. Notability and verifiability need to be established form the creation of an article. Intention to add this at a later point often leads to article deletion as WP needs to ensure to be as factual as possible at all time.
Lastly, I'd like to point out that Wikipedia editors are expected to be independent of the subject they write about. Please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's polices on conflict of interest and paid editing. _pseudonym Jake Brockman ^talk 07:28, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
