Did you revert the edit you intended to?
You recently (July 16) reverted an edit to the article on the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic with the comment "take it to the talk page." I think you may have intended to revert the edit before the one you actually reverted, in which an anonymous editor changed sourced material. The edit you reverted was a second edit by the same editor, removing a fragment left behind by an editing error; that editor's original change remains in the article, unreverted. UrielAcosta (talk) 22:36, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- I guess this was an undo I made after it very likely triggered the red color on my watchlist. It is a GA and red colors and GA don't go well together. But it was no obvious vandalism, so I performed an undo. Apparently this was wrong and now I self-reverted. Thanks for the notice. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 22:58, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Female (gender). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please continue using the Talk page instead of continuing to mass-delete sourced content. This article is currently subject to an AfD. Thanks, Beccaynr (talk) 14:40, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- You want to have included something that can be written on any human being that sees a psychologist and portray female gender roles associated with conflict and psychological stress and per the phrase only psychological stress and conflict. And I am not the only one who complains about that phrase. Other issues are there as well. If there are so many sources you claim there are bring them, expand the article with something meaningful, we as Wikipedians all wish you success.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 16:12, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
Regarding the article Turkish capture of Smyrna
Hey! You had argued that the new edit in the article Turkish capture of Smyrna needs more NPOV. How so? Let's talk here and make amends in the article if necessary. I am neutral, so I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks. zenzyyx_ (talk) 21:35, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
- I meant that I worded it a bit more NPOV not that it needed more NPOV. I am not so much into this but I saw that sourced content was replaced by unsourced which I thought was not really fair.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 21:48, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Paradise Chronicle Oh, okay. Thanks for NPOV'ing the article a bit further. zenzyyx_ (talk) 21:54, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. Rating for On Guard for Peace
Thank you for reviewing the article. I'm confused by your rating. Comparing it with the examples cited here, it seems as if it ought to be rated at least a B-class or even higher. Everything is sourced and cited properly, there is no OR; the article goes into depth about the work’s creation and premiere, as well as its historical background, which explains why it was composed, and reception. There are also a number of images that illustrate figures crucial in the work’s creation and reception. Aside from providing the oratorio's text with translation and descriptions of each movement with musical examples (which I do not know how to make), I am not sure how else this article could be improved.
I would very much appreciate your insight here. If you could tell me what else this article is lacking, that would also be welcome. Thank you again. —CurryTime7-24 (talk) 14:48, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- @CurryTime7-24 Please do not see this as a something personal, I hardly ever rate an article for a B as I normally guess there is more info on the subject. Feel free to upgrade it if you like. Until B one can decide for oneself. The article is really in good shape and your comment is also rather confident. I suggest you review it once more by yourself, fix the eventual typos etc. send it to the WP:GOCE and then nominate it for a Good Article/GA.

Olympics AFDs
Hi Paradise Chronicle!
Thanks for much for addressing some of the many Olympic stubs on Wikipedia by starting deletion discussions. Did you know that many of these articles can be boldly redirected by you without the need for a deletion discussion?
When a non-notable Olympian only competed in one event, you can simply redirect their page to that event. It's easy and saves time for everyone, just follow the instructions in Wikipedia:Redirect.
If an Olympian competed in multiple events, AFD or PROD is suitable.
Thanks! MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 18:59, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks you for the heads up. Where is the discussion where this was agreed on? I didn't see anything that this can be done with Olympics at WP:Redirect. Also, what about if one competed in multiple (100m 200m, 400m) events but only one Olympic Games? Paradise Chronicle (talk) 01:57, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- Redirecting articles is a commonly accepted alternative to deletion. You can redirect anything that lacks notability to a page where the subject is mentioned. Someone may revert and start a discussion, but in my experience this rarely happens with minor Olympians.
- There's no policy saying you have to redirect instead of sending to AfD. I mention it because the four Lugnuts Olympic stubs you nominated for deletion in the past week are heading for redirects as opposed to outright deletion.
- If an Olympian was at multiple events at one Olympic games, there may be another appropriate redirect target. For example, if a Brazilian Olympian competed in multiple athletics disciplines at the 2020 Olympics, you could redirect to Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics#Athletics.
- But if there's no good redirect target, or lots of options with no clear standouts, an AfD or PROD would likely be suitable. Thanks! MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 09:59, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

New Pages Patrol newsletter January 2023
Hello Paradise Chronicle,
- Backlog
The October drive reduced the backlog from 9,700 to an amazing 0! Congratulations to WaddlesJP13 who led with 2084 points. See this page for further details. The queue is steadily rising again and is approaching 2,000. It would be great if <2,000 were the “new normal”. Please continue to help out even if it's only for a few or even one patrol a day.
- 2022 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2022 cup for 28,302 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 80/day. There was one Gold Award (5000+ reviews), 11 Silver (2000+), 28 Iron (360+) and 39 more for the 100+ barnstar. Rosguill led again for the 4th year by clearing 49,294 redirects. For the full details see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone!
Minimum deletion time: The previous WP:NPP guideline was to wait 15 minutes before tagging for deletion (including draftification and WP:BLAR). Due to complaints, a consensus decided to raise the time to 1 hour. To illustrate this, very new pages in the feed are now highlighted in red. (As always, this is not applicable to attack pages, copyvios, vandalism, etc.)
New draftify script: In response to feedback from AFC, the The Move to Draft script now provides a choice of set messages that also link the creator to a new, friendly explanation page. The script also warns reviewers if the creator is probably still developing the article. The former script is no longer maintained. Please edit your edit your common.js or vector.js file from User:Evad37/MoveToDraft.js
to User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft.js
Redirects: Some of our redirect reviewers have reduced their activity and the backlog is up to 9,000+ (two months deep). If you are interested in this distinctly different task and need any help, see this guide, this checklist, and spend some time at WP:RFD.
Discussions with the WMF The PageTriage open letter signed by 444 users is bearing fruit. The Growth Team has assigned some software engineers to work on PageTriage, the software that powers the NewPagesFeed and the Page Curation toolbar. WMF has submitted dozens of patches in the last few weeks to modernize PageTriage's code, which will make it easier to write patches in the future. This work is helpful but is not very visible to the end user. For patches visible to the end user, volunteers such as Novem Linguae and MPGuy2824 have been writing patches for bug reports and feature requests. The Growth Team also had a video conference with the NPP coordinators to discuss revamping the landing pages that new users see.

New Page Patrol newsletter October 2022
Hello Paradise Chronicle,
Much has happened since the last newsletter over two months ago. The open letter finished with 444 signatures. The letter was sent to several dozen people at the WMF, and we have heard that it is being discussed but there has been no official reply. A related article appears in the current issue of The Signpost. If you haven't seen it, you should, including the readers' comment section.
Awards: Barnstars were given for the past several years (thanks to MPGuy2824), and we are now all caught up. The 2021 cup went to John B123 for leading with 26,525 article reviews during 2021. To encourage moderate activity, a new "Iron" level barnstar is awarded annually for reviewing 360 articles ("one-a-day"), and 100 reviews earns the "Standard" NPP barnstar. About 90 reviewers received barnstars for each of the years 2018 to 2021 (including the new awards that were given retroactively). All awards issued for every year are listed on the Awards page. Check out the new Hall of Fame also.
Software news: Novem Linguae and MPGuy2824 have connected with WMF developers who can review and approve patches, so they have been able to fix some bugs, and make other improvements to the Page Curation software. You can see everything that has been fixed recently here. The reviewer report has also been improved.
Suggestions:
- There is much enthusiasm over the low backlog, but remember that the "quality and depth of patrolling are more important than speed".
- Reminder: an article should not be tagged for any kind of deletion for a minimum of 15 minutes after creation and it is often appropriate to wait an hour or more. (from the NPP tutorial)
- Reviewers should focus their effort where it can do the most good, reviewing articles. Other clean-up tasks that don't require advanced permissions can be left to other editors that routinely improve articles in these ways (creating Talk Pages, specifying projects and ratings, adding categories, etc.) Let's rely on others when it makes the most sense. On the other hand, if you enjoy doing these tasks while reviewing and it keeps you engaged with NPP (or are guiding a newcomer), then by all means continue.
- This user script puts a link to the feed in your top toolbar.
Backlog:
Saving the best for last: From a July low of 8,500, the backlog climbed back to 11,000 in August and then reversed in September dropping to below 6,000 and continued falling with the October backlog drive to under 1,000, a level not seen in over four years. Keep in mind that there are 2,000 new articles every week, so the number of reviews is far higher than the backlog reduction. To keep the backlog under a thousand, we have to keep reviewing at about half the recent rate!
- Reminders
