Paid editing disclosure
[edit]Thank you for disclosing your paid editing status, this is a start but is not sufficient. WP:PAID requires that you provide links to your profiles on all sites where you "advertise, solicit or obtain paid Wikipedia-editing services" to fully comply with the policy. unfair block
[edit]PanzaMain (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I don't understand why have I been blocked and my draft that was recently approved removed. It seems too unfair, and I need more explanation. I don't know what the problem is with editting for Plastiq, I did use this draft as base but cleaned up tone and sources that I did not think was reliable[1].. I followed every guideline to include my draft. PanzaMain (talk) 17:32, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 17:41, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@Ser Amantio di Nicolao: @KrakatoaKatie: @David Gerard: @Neutrality: @Callanecc: @GSS: hi, I followed the article wizard step by step to create my draft Wikipedia:Article_wizard, please help me unblock my account. I can't find any case where doing a AfC submission is abusive. I don't understand, I am willing to answer any question to fix this misunderstanding. PanzaMain (talk) 11:26, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Yamla: Okay I need help, I am not sure how to convice you. I am being accussed without any proof I've done anything wrong.

Request reason:
Reading WP:GAB and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Josher8a. I think I've been blocked on a suspicion I am Josher8a but based on my edits you can tell I was not trying to advertise or damage the encyclopedia, copy paste is a tool everyone can use and its not abusive to use it (I think). The draft I used as base was this one[1] but I rewrote some parts and cleaned up tone to follow Wiki encyclopedic guidelines. I don't see any of my edits as disruptive, abusive nor unnecesary, If you have any question, I am very willing to answer and resolve this issue. PanzaMain (talk) 17:58, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

- @MER-C: I am only acting onm on behalf of WhatAboutWiki company. I don't have anything to do with previous editor (https://whataboutwiki.com/). We just accepted a new client trying to have a new page. Sorry, I did not violated any rules or guidelines to my knowledge. I am just learning about this PanzaMain (talk) 15:38, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- PanzaMain, are you sure this wasn't picked up by you through Upwork? GSS 💬 12:25, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @GSS: I am very sure sir, I don't own an Upwork profile. I am working for a company called What About Wiki (https://whataboutwiki.com/), not sure about anything else. PanzaMain (talk) 13:32, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
I made a good article of a notable fintech company that passes WP:CORP. I am not making this up as the article was accepted by an AfC reviewer before it was deleted. (https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&page=Plastiq_Inc.) I do work for a editing company but I haven't abused or disrupted Wikipedia, I disclosed my connection and did the AfC process. if you don't believe me, don't unblock my user but at least give me guidance to include this fine subject to the encyclopedia. Thanks for everything and take care. PanzaMain (talk) 03:44, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
If you are blocked, you will not be given guidance on how to edit by proxy, because that's not permitted. If you choose to work for a company that is essentially blocked from editing Wikipedia, you must accept the consequences of doing so. Next time maybe you should better research potential employers. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:06, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
@331dot: I don't want to edit on proxy, u know i haven't. What I am saying is that the company qualifies to have a page, how can I propose the creation of the article? Paid editting isn't prohibitted by Wikipedia policies (Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure) (Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest#Paid_editors) and I have followed every policy. Disclosure, Neutral tone and afc was used. If you just block people trying to do things right u are just encouraging ppl to break the rules, don't you think? Per conversation throughout this page, you are clearly editing on behalf of a company that has spammed the wiki, and are a sock at that. I am revoking talk page access at this time. only (talk) 03:08, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

Someone else will review your request. But if the company merits a Wikipedia article, you or any company employee shouldn't be the one to write it due to the severe conflict of interest. If you are editing for a banned company that spammed Wikipedia, you won't be able to edit. You aren't "doing things right" if you are working for a company that has users blocked for spamming Wikipedia. If you are going to break the rules anyway, then there is nothing more to be done here. Please also read about meatpuppetry. 331dot (talk) 13:16, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]@RoySmith:@RoySmith: Hello, Could u review my block? I am willing to answer any question you may have. I just want to say that the sockpuppet is false, this has to be a mistake. As far as I know I have followed Wikipedia's policy and guideline, please talk to me.. I am sorry if I editted for a company that had issues with Wikipedia in the past but this has nothing to do with me and I was not aware that this would happen. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
