File:Colin Larkin.jpg

Hello. For images like File:Colin Larkin.jpg, where the copyright holder has released it, it is best to get this on record. Can you have a look at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission? It explains how to do this and has a draft email that can be sent. Regards, Angus McLellan (Talk) 16:56, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. I have already sought the copyright holder's permission and forwarded this to wikipermissions. Am awaiting a ticket from them.Pamela Gardiner (talk) 17:05, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Hello & Please Join

Hi, I noticed that you used to be part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Sculpture, which now appears to be dead. Please consider become a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Wikipedia Saves Public Art; there's a growing group of people using it. The project could certainly use your expertise! Thanks,--RichardMcCoy (talk) 19:09, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Hazel-1-.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Hazel-1-.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 05:47, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
