[edit]Stop edit warring (at American alligator), and stop confusing individual alligator or crocodile species with their larger families or groupings. You have confused the prehistoric origins of the Nile crocodile with the prehistoric origins of all crocodiles. And you have made the same mistake with the American alligator, confusing its Late Cretaceous origins with that of the larger alligator family Alligatoridae or larger grouping Alligatoroidea. Also, read up WP:EDIT WARRING. Stop trying to reintroduce a change that others have already reverted. Also, read up on WP:CITING SOURCES. For any new information or claim that you add to an article, you need to include a cited source - in the article itself, not in the edit summary.
Also, are you also user User:DilophosauruZ? Very similar edit history. If so, this is called sock-puppeting, and is not allowed. See WP:Sockpuppetry. Cougroyalty (talk) 19:56, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- Agree with the above, including the suspicion of sockpuppetry (I consider it unlikely that this particular blind spot, combined with inability to understand its existence, is this common). PaleoPlayer43, you are one more edit-warring move, unsourced disruptive edit, or personal attack away from being reported. Please stop. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 17:30, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
