Hey guys, I was told by the other Maple Syrup Urine Disease Group that this the correct page for us to be having our conversation and then to do the "edit" to edit the sandbox! I have already put all my stuff directly on wikipedia and gotten some negative and positive feedback. So I will change those things and add everything I put up there to our sandbox! The Wikipedia article

[edit]

If you are researching MSUD, the article is in serious need of improvement, and I am certain that you will come up with sources and ideas. The things that belong in a Wikipedia article are the salient facts for a general audience (Wikipedia:Make technical articles understandable). Wikipedia is not a treatment manual even though some sections are written as though it were. Please do not consider the current version of the article as a template. If you see an opportunity to improve the article, please do. Don't be afraid of mistakes. Undoing changes is relatively easy. Pencils have erasers and Wikipedia has an "undo" link. I'm available for questions (not 24/7), and there are other editors around. I'll peek at your work and may comment if I see something that would be useful for the article. Writing articles on medical subjects on Wikipedia combines several challenges: accessing the medical literature (Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources (medicine)), converting it to text accessible to a general reader, and the technical aspects of Wikipedia articles (Wikipedia:Tutorial. Please don't be daunted. If you can write sound content based upon good sources, any experienced editor can walk you through the technical details. Be bold and good luck.
