Double Afd
Umm, I really hate the article? :) Yeah I think that I accidentally hit the afd button twice using twinkle and it made two of them... I'm not quite sure how to get ride of it. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 22:06, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Your disruption
Hey, why don't you actually put some effort into saving information rather than destroying it? Copy it into other wikis and then turn the articles into redirects.--Alertother (talk) 18:22, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- I think what Alertother he was inferring was to using the sandbox? His/Her tone is a bit harsh. You should know that Pagrashtak is an admin and knows what he was doing.
- Oh by the way, I used my friend's account Storkian just to get an idea of what Wikipedia is. but I request a deletion of his account because firstly, I don't want to be blamed as a sockpuppet or a multiaccount abuser. He has not vandalized any pages but I request otherwise because he shares the same IP adress as me temporarily but will be moving soon. If you want, I'll login to his account to prove that I mean this request.--µWiki Peers / Seeds (YouWiki) 22:25, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Real ID Act
You incorrectly editted my accurate modification regarding the "Real ID". If you were do your research you would understand that this plan was cooked up by international bankers as a means to provide the stepping stone to the ultimate slave monitoring system - the subdermal RFID microchip also known as "The Mark of the Beast". See here for more information: http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=aaron+russo+real+id&sitesearch= —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.78.35.26 (talk) 18:24, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- No, I reverted the addition of unsourced point-of-view material. If you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, your edits must have a netural point of view, as I explained earlier on your talk page, and must be verifiable to a reliable source, using a citation or other reference mechanism. In short, if you're going to claim that the government is exercising thought control over its population, you'd better have something to back that up. Pagrashtak 18:37, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

RE:Orphaned non-free image (Image:ΜWiki .png)
Huh? What are you talking about? I made it myself to make it look similar to utorrent and wikipedia. This is free content because I made it and published it. Don't you know what a parody-spoof is? It's made to look similar but it isn't. These laws are starting to be stubborn. It's like me making a circle and putting a micro sign in the middle. If I'm not mistaken, lot of people copy ideas that are not necessarily published as the same content. ehem microsoft. --µWiki Peers / Seeds (YouWiki) 21:59, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Semantics
Hi. This message was delayed for a few days after a computer crash ate it. I came from Descent Freespace Terran fighters to note that while I wouldn't be contesting the prod, it's worth noting that the "game guide" restriction applies only to how-to content: strategies, hints, walkthroughs and all that. Purely descriptive content is okay.
The previous version also had a request to slow down after you PROD:ded several dozen articles within a week, which surely does not give the people the all-important chances to determine if the content can be fixed and to make sure that the quality of our coverage of the topics as a whole is not damaged by removing parts of it. Luckily, you seem to have slowed down a lot, right?
Considering that the specific phrasing in that version was "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD", it's probably for the best that it wasn't used. --Kizor (talk) 01:14, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
I filled in the template with all of the BattleTech articles to fill it back in and get a sense of what remained, and WOW there is a lot. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 23:53, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Smash Bros Task Force
The fact that there are only a few articles is exactly why I picked out a task force instead of a whole new wikiproject. A task force need not work on a million articles. Odd Question
This is a rather weird question, I'm looking for a word to describe a review done many years after the fact. In context, it would be something like "In a (insert word here) review by Nintendo Power, Steve Jarratt said...." Do you have any ideas?--CM (talk) 00:07, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for re-adding the Animal Crossing Tragedy stuff into the wrong version. Ye Art Cordially Invited to the Annex
Hello, My good Fellow, listen and I shalt telleth Ye a Tale of a Wiki that well comes All Manner of Articles relating to Fiction. What is This wonderful Place of Fantasy, You ask? It is the Annex, Haven to All fiction-related Refugee Articles from Wikipedia.
Before nominating or proposing a fiction-related Article for Deletion, It is My sincerest Hope that Ye import It to the Annex. Why do This, You wonder? Individuals have dedicated an enormous Amount of Time to writing These Articles, and ’twould be a Pity for the Information to Vanish unto the Oblivion where only Administrators could see Them.
Here is a Step-by-Step Process of how to Bringeth Articles into the Annex:
- Ye shall need at least three Browser Tabs or Windows open. For the first Tab or Window, go to Special:Export. For the second, go here. (If Ye have not an Account at Wikia, then create One.) Do whatever Ye want for the third.
- Next, open the Program known as Notepad. If Ye haveth It not, then open WordPad. Go to “Save as,” and for “Encoding,” select either “Unicode” or “UTF-8.” For “Save as type,” select “All Files.” For “File name,” input “
export.xml
” and save It. Leave the Window open. - Next, go to the Special:Export Window at Wikipedia, and un-check the two small Boxes near the “Export” Button. Input the Name of the Wikipedia Article which Ye wish to import to the Annex into the large Field, and click “Export.”
- Right-click on the Page full of Code which appears, and clicketh on “View Source” or “View Page Source” or any Option with similar Wording. A new Notepad Window called “index[1]” or Something similar should appear. Press Ctrl+A to highlight All the Text then Ctrl+C to copy It. Close yon “index[1]” Window, and go to the Notepad “export.xml” Window. Press Ctrl+V to pasteth the Text There, and then save It by pressing Ctrl+S.
- Now go to the Special:Import Window over at the Annex. Clicketh on “Browse…” and select the “export.xml” File. At last, click on “Upload file,” and Thou art done, My Friend! However, if It says 100 Revisions be imported, Ye be not quite finished just yet. Go back to Wikipedia’s Special:Export, and leave only the “Include only the current revision, not the full history” Box checked. Export That, copy the Page Source, close the “index[1]” Window, and go to the “export.xml” Window. Press Ctrl+A to highlight the Code all ready There, press “backspace” to erase It, and press Ctrl+V to pasteth the new Code There. Press Ctrl+S to save It, then upload once more to the Annex. Paste
{{Wikipedia|{{PAGENAME}}}}
at the Bottom of the imported Article at the Annex, and Ye art now finally done! Keepeth the “export.xml” File for future Use.
Thank Ye for using the Annex, My Friend — the Annex Hath Spoken 05:56, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
re:Ref comments
I removed all of the "2007"s from the article. The only reason they were there in the first place is a suggestion I received in an FAC a long time ago (maybe for a different article; don't remember) that there should always be a date, even if its the copyright tag in the footer, for every reference. I suppose its all preference, and I don't really mind either way. As to the long way form of referencing, I will look into it further if I can get a primary editor or author; until then, citations may look slightly strange.--CM (talk) 19:25, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Subpage question
Should this be deleted: User:Zappernapper/Battle Frontier? It's just a duplicate of the main Battle Frontier article, and hasn't been edited in for months (with the exception of my removal of categories today). RobJ1981 (talk) 22:05, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- The user doesn't appear to be very active, but I'll leave a note anyway. After a week or so, I'll then put it in MFD. RobJ1981 (talk) 22:15, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Transclusions are not subpages
See the Mediawiki sources. I really need to do ttransclusion here or I refuse to maintain it.
- Slamlander (talk) 19:00, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- While it may not be denoted with a slash, you are definitely using it as a subpage, and this falls under Wikipedia:Subpages#Disallowed uses number 3. Permanent content should be added directly to the article. If you find yourself repeating a large piece of text on several pages, that is often an indication of the need for a merge. Please add new sections on talk pages to the bottom and not the top, by the way. Pagrashtak 19:06, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Centralized TV Episode Discussion
Over the past months, TV episodes have been reverted by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Less common dragons
It's what's stated in WP:DPR#AFD. It also permits editors implementing the redirect to move some of the content if they wish given that the outcome here was essentially a compromise between a merge and a delete -- redirect was not the individually most-supported outcome. Advice
Do you have any advice as to what I should do with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? I just dropped a load of suggestions, and to be realistic, they will take a while to implement, if they ever are. Should I hold the article, just straight up fail it (the idea I like most and least at the same time, since I came off on the talk page like I was giving them a chance to improve it) or should I just ignore the whole process and let whoever decides to review the article make a decision? It is defiantly not up to quality yet, and I want to make sure it is before it is ever passed. You don't need to get involved with the process, I was just looking for another opinion. Thanks, CM (talk) 02:49, 1 February 2008 (UTC).
- Scratch that, someone was reviewing it, and was trying to make some headway on it.--CM (talk) 03:20, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Fair Use FAC check
Pagrashtak, do you have a moment to let me know if images are in order here? Thanks! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:14, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks! Well, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get up to speed on FairUse. Are those issues significant enough that I need to wait for correction before promoting? What can I read to sort out *serious* violations from those less serious? It's all so fuzzy. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:38, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, i have a query about the "portion" part of the template. I'm not really sure what should be added as the template page is rather fuzzy explaining it. What exactly should be added?, a description of the image? How much of the image is used? What the image is?, such as a 'production photo' or 'movie screen shot', which i added for the time being until i know what to add :|. M3tal H3ad (talk) 02:21, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- There are four factors to consider in fair use. Number three (from our article on fair use) is "the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole". In short, the less you use of the copyrighted work, the stronger your fair use claim is. Something explaining that the image is one screenshot from a copyrighted video game, which is a very small portion of the entire work, should suffice. Pagrashtak 16:57, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Zelda Wind Waker Link waves goodbye.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Zelda Wind Waker Link waves goodbye.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 03:20, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
