CVG Infobox
Just a friendly note, I've been avoiding entering the media for console games, based on the infobox recommendation. It suggests that For console games, the fields, engine, media, input and requirements can and in some cases should be omitted. Presumably the idea being that it's redundant when the media's the same for a particular console. --ADeveria 15:52, 20 July 2005 (UTC)
Homophobia/Heterophobia
Just so you know, the proper formation is homoerotophobia, from "homo" (same) + "eroto" (of or pertaining to sexual desire) + "phobia". The etymology is covered at the end of the article above cited. The same rule would presumably apply to heteroerotophobia, which should be a redirect to heterophobia if it survives as an entry. Robert A West 20:39, 26 July 2005 (UTC)

Re: Samus Aran
Portions copied from User talk:Ylem to complete conversation Pagrashtak 13:23, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
Instead of starting an edit war, let me explain my capitalizations:
- Aether is capitalized because it is the name of a planet and is thus a proper noun. (Just like Jupiter and Saturn are always capitalized.)
- Chozo is capitalized because it is the name of a race and is thus a proper noun. Among others, you decapitalized the phrase "a chozo warrior". Would you ever write "a german warrior" or "an english warrior" without capitalizing German or English?
--Pagrashtak 22:00, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for being the cooler head. I'd spent some time copyediting the article and was a little upset that after taking so long to distinguish between proper and improper capitalization, you decided to indiscriminately revert. Let me explain my reasoning.
- Aether I left capitalized when I thought it referred to ALL Aether, which is proper, as opposed to SOME aether, which is not.
- Chozo comes down to whether you consider Chozo to constitute a nationality or simply a species. You would write, "The German warriors", yes, and "The English warriors", but it would be silly to write, "The Human warriors". Like Aether, I left this capitalized where I thought the article referred to all Chozo, as opposed to some. The entry for Chozo makes it seem like sort of a moot point.
- That said, Samus' article is probably beyond help, but so the Wiki goes.
- Ylem 04:40, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, I thought I was just correcting an oversight when I capitalized. You're right that I wouldn't write "Human warrior" with a capital, but I think this is a quirk of us being the only known species. I believe that Klingon and Romulan and Martian (or for that matter, "Earthling") would be capitalized in this instance, and I think that would extend to Chozo. --Pagrashtak 04:47, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
- It is kind of a quirk with "human", although the examples you gave (like many others!) could be writers claiming artistic license with English, and it's not uncommon. You would, for example, not capitalize "the frog warriors" or "the chicken warriors", but if the frogs started a country, they might form ranks of "Frogian warriors". Honestly, it doesn't bother me. The consensus seems to be that the capitalization stays.

re: music genres.
No problem. I ususally try to make sure that I do; sometimes I forget. I will stay on top of it, though; thanks. --FuriousFreddy 16:57, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

Response.
I got distracted with Nintendo Puzzle Collection after I began work on it. - A Link to the Past (talk) 02:26, September 13, 2005 (UTC)
I changed my mind since then.
Anyway, cancelled games, in my opinion, should get representation if they had enough content to back it up. - A Link to the Past (talk) 06:55, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

concerning moving an artical
yourecently tagged an artical to be moved to wikibooks cookbook. I am still new to this and not sure how to do that. If you could show me how to do that. id be happy to move it to a more apropriate place.Larquitte 16:12, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Fair Use Violation?
Concerning Tiny_Toon_Adventures:_Buster_Busts_Loose, how can the screenshots I added be a violation of fair use? I've always understood that a limited number of screenshots are within fair use rights?
Also, why was the table changed? The table I added had more information and is used in plenty of other pages here, including almost all of the other TTA video game pages. Just curious. Eric42 11:10, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Majora's Mask
Hi Pagrashtak, just dropping by to thank you for your high quality editing of Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Keep up the good work :-) Fredrik | tc 08:41, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Knowing that something has to be done, and actually doing it, are two different matters (I should try to be better at the latter :-) Fredrik Johansson - talk - contribs 09:56, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

My edits
Hello, I have responded to your message on Talk:The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Please see why I have made specific changes and why I have removed some content. However, I am perplexed by your comment of who Hollow Wilerding is and what a CheckUser is. 64.231.163.117 02:41, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- FYI, I have discovered who Hollow Wilerding is and what a CheckUser is. 64.231.163.10 22:06, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Previously posted on User talk:ZeWrestler: *Sorry to butt in on your talk page, ZeWrestler, but I'd like to second the request for 64.231 to register an account. Using an anon IP makes you look more like Hollow than an actual account. --Pagrashtak 01:35, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
I admire your concern, however, if one chooses to conduct a CheckUser request, the IP address will match that of Hollow Wilerding's as she had been editing from public computers. From the knowledge that I've collected based on her block, if this were to be discovered, I do not believe that Wikipedia would find my contributions to be beneficial and more along the lines of "artificial"; this would be mainly demonstarted through the editing I've completed on Majora's Mask, which was an interest of Hollow Wilerding's. I do like you and ZeWrestler though, so perhaps I could reconsider the advantageous path of setting up a registered account. I must confide in you that I am a unviersity student though, and if I ever took the initiative of registering, it would have to be following my upcoming exams. Once again, I admire your concern, and look forward to (possibly) signing up on Wikipedia. Thanks! 64.231.68.22 02:30, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'll consider register an account in two-weeks' time. Until then, goodbye. 64.231.168.58 21:29, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
Thank you for the help with my first article. ;)

Xenosaga articles
Thanks for the recommendations! Yeah, I meant to Wikify the story sections and work on adding citations, but I've been distracted with the Patriots FA run. Many, many thanks for the tips! Deckiller 01:31, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Registered account
Hey! It's me, the anonymous user who you had assumed to be the disease of Toronto East. I take no offense, so don't worry. I would like to thank you for supporting me in registering an account and allowing the district library to edit on Wikipedia once again rather than taking the initiative in ensuring the block of the IP address 64.231. Now that I have registered an account, I was wondering how to join the WikiProject Video Games and was curious to know if you wanted to work on an article together? —Eternal Equinox | talk 21:31, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I don't really have anything to do with library policy. You can join the WikiProject by adding the appropriate userbox to your page; check out the WikiProject page for details. If you want to collaborate on an article with other CVG enthusiasts, I suggest the GCOTW. --Pagrashtak 06:54, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- Suggesting a collaboration with another leads me to believe that you are not interested, which is fair enough. Thanks for the information! —Eternal Equinox | talk 23:20, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
List of Mega Man Skills
Hello, Pagrashtak, you expressed concern for the robot master weapons listing and forthwith on the article I've submitted. You've neglected to reply to my comment on the project page, which I'll reproduce below:
Concensus was already reached on the talkpage to not include the robot master weapons. If we did so, we'd have to include EX skills from Mega Man Zero, varible weapons systems attacks from Mega Man X, and a full chip listing from Megaman Battle Network. If we do document those attributes, they'd warrent a entire different list. This documents the weapons that stay consistant between versions and have full analytical basis. Sometimes the community confuses "the comprehensive interests of Wikipedia" with having exhaustive lists on the most trivial of aspects. Go figure.
I think this will most likely end with this Flc concerning the List of Mega Man weapons, and not the List of Mega Man skills which you are refering to. I've no idea why your opinion is on this, but I do have a knack for coming up with something reasonably sensible regarding Mega Man series criteria. As for the images, I'll rectify that; many thanks for bringing that to my attention. -ZeroTalk 07:26, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Looking over my thesis, I'm still positive that I'm justified. However, your lust for justification did get me pondering, and henceforth, I have started a new list/project here. I thought to let you know, since you still neglect to understand that they don't warrent being in the List of Mega Man weapons article. -ZeroTalk 02:23, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've posted my reply on the project page. -ZeroTalk 03:22, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- Wow. I didn't "neglect to reply" to your comments, you just didn't allow me the time to respond. I've responded to your comments now, in less than 24 hours I might add, which I don't feel is unreasonable at all. I've got a job and two kids, so you must understand that I don't have the luxury of responding to every comment I'd like to within a few hours.
- I wrote on the FLC submission that I think Robot Master weapons should be included, to which you responded that you disagreed, and then you come to my user page, accusing me of "neglecting to understand" something before I even have a chance to respond, and refer to my supposed "lust for justification" concerning your "thesis". I hope that you didn't write that message intending offense, because I do find it a little offensive.
- On a positive note, the format you have on that subpage is very close to what I had in mind for the article when I suggested adding Robot Master weapons. --Pagrashtak 03:24, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- Please accept my humble apologies. I meant no attack on your person; simply somewhat bewldered at why you wished to saturate the article with information that warrents an entire different list. I also took the liberty of fixing the remaining image copyvios. I hope theres no bad blood; I just simply wondered why you kept bringing the point of that information.-ZeroTalk 03:29, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- No harm done. The reason I brought up the point again at FLC is that objections must be accompanied by a actionable list, so I was just stating the reasons I was objecting. --Pagrashtak 05:13, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've rectified the image copyvios and de-satuarated the article. I hope you find it acceptable. -ZeroTalk 07:12, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Re: Wind waker cover art
Yeah, I noticed that too. The only reason I uploaded it was because the original one seemed a bit too low quality for a Featured article candidate. My copy of the game, too, is the duller one with the starburst thing, so I dunno if there are two covers or it is just an "enhanced" version. Maybe we should replace it with one that was scanned?
