Speedy deletion nomination of Eric Frohnapfel
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Eric Frohnapfel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. BU Rob13 (talk) 18:16, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- I've explained why I nominated this for speedy deletion on the talk page. Feel free to respond here if you have any questions. BU Rob13 (talk) 18:19, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, Padsquad2010. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Dreamius Smith, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Dreamius Smith to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks, Qasaur (talk) 20:02, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
The article Shaquil Barrett has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ~ RobTalk 02:33, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
Matt Akins
[edit]Hi Padsquad, about Ketchapp page, you should correct that Matt Akins actually removed by himself the 2 articles he published on Medium, because it was false accusations against Ketchapp.

Articles on NFL players
[edit]Hi! Thanks for your work on creating stubs related to NFL players. I recommend that you take a moment to review WP:NGRIDIRON, the notability standards by which your articles will eventually be judged. In particular, NFL players are not considered notable unless they've played in a regular season or post-season game. Playing in only pre-season games or being on an active roster but never used in a game does not make a player notable by itself. They could still be notable due to their activities in college, as per WP:NCOLLATH, but this generally requires a significant award. I haven't looked into your articles in depth, but I suspect some of these players do not meet those notability standards, although they could in the future. WP:TOOSOON may apply in some cases. I have no doubt that you're acting in good faith, but wanted to make you aware of these criteria. Thanks for your contributions! ~ RobTalk 22:26, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

The Rams are now gone from Skank Louis.
[edit]What's the point of reverting back to the name of Skank Louis when the team has officially relocated to L.A. and have gotten the votes to move. Please, try to put it back to L.A., since it's our team now, not yours kid. 😂😂😂😂
First of all, the Rams were never my team. The team has officially announced intentions and gotten all the paperwork through, but they still have to actually relocate. Once they actually relocate, by all means edit the page to your liking. For now, on a technicality, they are the STL Rams. This is incredibly complicated, I know, but that's how Wikipedia should demonstrate it. Padsquad2010 (talk) 02:52, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Rams
[edit]The Rams are no longer in St. Louis. Therefore, why revert edits to Los Angeles when it's been announced officially that the team is relocationg? Ah, that's right, you shouldn't because it's OFFICIAL. CrashUnderride 02:46, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
The Rams are not Officially in LA. There is a 99% chance that they will be the LA Rams. We have to acknowledge that it is still Almost official, not official. Padsquad2010 (talk) 02:50, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- Yes it's official. Just go to their website. CrashUnderride 03:20, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
At the time of posting, it wasn't on yet. But the article title is "Rams to relocate to Los Angeles" What this means is that while, yes they definitely will be, they haven't yet. The website still refers to them as the STL Rams. They refer to LA in the future tense. They have no stadium plan in LA until 2019, so the Coliseum is purely speculative. What is accurate is that the St. Louis Rams will play football somewhere in Los Angeles. I forget the exact WP page, but one of them says that future information shouldn't be listed as the current way things are. By next season, they will probably be called the LA Rams, play in the Coliseum, etc. But none of it reflects the team at the moment. Technically, they haven't moved yet. They will, but haven't.Padsquad2010 (talk) 20:33, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Rams
[edit]OK, the NFL and the Rams have BOTH confirmed they will be going to LA via their own news releases? Why do you still not consider it "official" and when, in your eyes, will it be considered "official"? (And why have you been so uncivil in your edit summaries?) Tom Danson (talk) 03:07, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
True, the NFL and Rams have both confirmed they will be going to LA. That much is official. What I do not consider official is the name change. The team is the St. Louis Rams. They will play in Los Angeles, and almost certainly will be called the LA Rams, but they are still headquartered in STL, have no stadium plan for 2016, and still call themselves the St. Louis Rams. The impending move is official, but not the move itself. I don't know the WP pages, but one of them is that future events are not supposed to be fact. Once the Rams actually pack up and move, redo their website, etc. then I will consider them to officially be the LA Rams. I'm trying to be as objective as possible, but the news sources aren't always accurate in their titles for articles. As far as civility, thanks for calling me out. I was frustrated with people not understanding that although there is almost zero chance of the team not leaving, they haven't left yet. When I tried to explain it, they just kinda gave me the digital stink eye. Hopefully, you understand where I'm coming from. Padsquad2010 (talk) 20:26, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

The article Ketchapp has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- I believe this small company (and I wish them luck) is using English Wikipedia to promote themselves. It is not a notable company. It is getting towards WP:PROMO with the number of redirects we have to it (one of which, Ketchapp Games, is at RfD at the moment). If it can't make its mind up what it is called, then I don't think it is encyclopaeidic. Most edits are by users with "Gamer" or e.g. User:Gamingforfun365 in their names. That is fine, I don't mind people playing video games, and I like their honesty that they enjoy it. But it is still not encyclopaedic. User:AdrianGamer. Including these so they get a shout.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Si Trew (talk) 08:08, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
- No need to bother, Padsquad2010. The PROD has been declined by another user.
- And as for you, @SimonTrew:, well, you might have made only one mistake when pinging me: you might not have realized that . Besides that, I only drop by every once in a while to see whether I am needed by someone else on this website, but, although I am open to changing my stance, I have retired because of my growing concerns of what I perceive to be Wikipedia's own definitions for "truth" and "myth", bias in fields such as science and politics, ever-growing regulation, less-accurate articles, and not by least, how I have been dealing with conflict. I am more of an Encyclopaedia Britannica user now.
