Notice that you are now subject to a topic ban
You have been topic banned for six months from all editing on the topic of Scotland in relation to Great Britain/United Kingdom, broadly construed. Please read the policy on topic bans to ensure you understand what this means. This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator as authorised by the community's decision here. It has been recorded here in the Editing restrictions log. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions. You may appeal this sanction at the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. Bishonen | talk 10:16, 2 May 2016 (UTC).
- The topic ban doesn't work. diff Pablothepenguin (talk) 10:38, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- You're supposed to just not edit anything covered by your ban. There is no way to enforce the ban on a technical level. Note that this edit is a violation of your ban and continued edits along that line will get you blocked.--Atlan (talk) 15:17, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Ukraine in UEFA Euro 2016
Hi. Before making edits like this to Template:UEFA Euro 2016 Group C table please make sure that you have reads the rules and know what you are doing. Goal difference is not the first official tiebreaker, which is explained at the template talkpage as well as the talkpage for the group. Your edit has been reverted as it was incorrect, Ukraine is eliminated which has also been verified by UEFA in their articles about the tournament. Qed237 (talk) 23:31, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

. NeilN talk to me 15:02, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Topic ban
Hi Pablothepenguin - NeilN has let me know about your recent block. To be frank with you, you've got off very lightly with a one week block - it wouldn't be out of place for a longer block to be applied for topic ban violations. I think it would be best for us to start by going through why you edited the articles in question. You may wish to review the ANI thread before responding here -- samtar talk or stalk 15:15, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Samtar, I forgot I had that topic ban completely. Also, I'm surprised that it hasn't ended yet either. Pablothepenguin (talk) 17:14, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
- The discussion (last month) specified your topic ban for a period of six months. Please review that discussion again. It's really unfortunate this has happened, and I understand you feel strongly about the topic. You do great work here Pablothepenguin, honestly you do, but in order to stick around you're going to have to drop any and all editing in anything even remotely related to your topic ban for at least those six months. What other things interest you? You seem to have a knack for politics - what do you think about the Trumpster? I always thought Boris looked a little too similar.... -- samtar talk or stalk 17:20, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 23:43, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
