Thank you for the Welcome
[edit]I only browse through Wikipedia occasionally due to a busy touring shedule. I find the site to be both interesting and frustrating. I don't take time to edit too many articles. Reverting vandals is satisfying. My true pet peeve is linkspam and POV. I understand the reasoning of being open to all. At the same time being a properly registered user only site has it's merits. Probably see you around. Good day mate! Fair Deal 18:50, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- My pleasure. No doubt, fighting vandalism and sometimes dealing with other editors can be frustrating. As long as we uphold WP:CIVIL, it's an enjoyable place. Ciao for now. PJM 20:02, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Please review my comments regarding the AfD for Family Groove Company at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Family Groove Company and see if you still wish to have this article deleted. Thank you, Dismas|(talk) 02:29, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi, PJM. We had a bit of a guitar chat a while back. I still notice you cleaning up the odd guitar related articles.(you're the superfluity "Hoover"!) Am I safe to assume that you are a guitarist? A member of the Wiki guitar Project put a call out to try and recruit members. I've avoided "clanning" up with any Wiki projects as I've sort of fallen into a VandalProof only editor(for now anyways). This project hits close to home though since I've been playing guitar for many(too many to count) years. I know you have a busy "Wiki-plate" but if, in fact, you are a player your input would be greatly appreciated...if you can spare the time that is.... Cheers and take care! - Thank you for the note; I added my name to the list. I'm a veteran player myself and will be glad to pitch in. I look forward to working with you and the other axefolk. ;) Best regards, PJM 16:37, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

- Glad to see you've joined in. I am very busy with the VandalProof thing but I have picked Billy Gibbons, Paul Kossoff and Leslie West as my own little "pet projects" to try and flesh out. It should be fun. I notice the project seems to focus on "guitarists" more than "guitars". I would like to see some discussions happen about setting guidelines for those articles as well. You and I have already discussed the notable vs. POV/favourite lists before. It's probably worth bring up at some point within the project. Take care! Anger22 16:44, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Zombie
[edit]Hi. I restored the Zombie page to its previous version. By "narrowing it down", you made it impossible to find specific items, which pretty much defeats the purpose of a disambiguation page. •Jim62sch• 20:56, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hello. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by saying that I made it "impossible to find specific items" - that's an overstatement and a bit unfair, in my view.
- I think this is a good example of a disambiguation page. Everything I see there is specifically referred to as "giant", i.e. you do not see the band They Might Be Giants or Godzilla listed there.
- The previous version of the zombie disambig. page, that you restored, features Tales of the Zombie and Plan 9 from Outer Space. It does not seem likely, or sensible, that anyone looking for those things would simply type in "zombie".
- Happy editing. PJM 11:42, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- It looks better now (BTW, I wasn't refering to the two examples you cited, they can clearly go). I was trying to look up "the Zombies" (musi group), which you had removed (probably an oversight). It's all cool now. •Jim62sch• 19:50, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Notice to Guitarist Project members
[edit]An Admin, unfamiliar with the project, has nominated our template-Template:Guitarist infobox-for deletion. I have added a vote to keep it...more would help. Anger22 12:09, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
