Some editing suggestions to consider for the article Ethnographic film:

  • More citations and references are required to make the article more reliable.
  • Aspects in the second paragraph of the lead in can be incorporated into the "Origins" section, such as the information on Gregory Bateson, Robert Gardner and Karl Heider.
  • To improve the organization of the article, you can use more headings and subheadings. For example, creating headings/subheadings for the early developments of ethnographic film, when ethnographic film became well known, later/modern uses, etc.
  • Using some of the information already in the article, you could potentially create a section devoted to major contributors to ethnographic film and discuss their contributions (a good place to use references).
