Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 165.225.202.193 (in reality, the site www.whatismyip.com identifies my IP as 37.160.63.151). Hi, I wanted to point out that even registered users connecting through a corporate network filtered by Zscaler (like in my case) are prevented from doing any modifications. I kindly ask you to reconsider the block, to allow at least registered users to do modifications. Thank you very much. --P1221 (talk) 12:31, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

You should now be able to edit using that particular zscaler netblock (so long as you are signed in). Happy editing! Yamla (talk) 12:44, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:48, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

"Friuli-Venezia Giulia"

[edit]

Last year you helped to solve the problem of "Friuli Venezia Giulia" (from "Friuli Venezia Giulia" to "Friuli-Venezia Giulia"): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pordenone&diff=prev&oldid=1192061871; out of curiosity, do you intend to continue? JacktheBrown (talk) 09:53, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @JackkBrown, thanks for reaching me. I have less free time now and I'm logging to WP more sporadically. I'm glad anyway to continue supporting in this task. P1221 (talk) 09:21, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@P1221: since this is a tedious and time-consuming job, I'm very surprised that you agreed to continue (over 150 edits for this, WOW!). JacktheBrown (talk) 01:48, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@JackkBrown Somebody has to do the dirty job... :-)
I completed the list you published in Friuli-Venezia Giulia's talk page, but I see there are 600+ links that still need to be fixed. Also, there are some pages (like Arba, Friuli Venezia Giulia), that might require a bold move. P1221 (talk) 10:41, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@P1221: only 563 pages remain: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?limit=50000&title=Special:WhatLinksHere/Friuli_Venezia_Giulia. JacktheBrown (talk) 01:43, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@P1221: I have corrected the title ("Arba, Friuli Venezia Giulia"), if you find other pages with the title that should be changed, please let me know. JacktheBrown (talk) 11:15, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And... thank you for your work, which was also very fast. I like to see someone, other than myself, very precise and fast. JacktheBrown (talk) 11:28, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
