You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ozark outdoors, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ~Excesses~ (talk) 21:34, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion

[edit]

Please do not delete my Ozark Outdoors page, and let me know how to "fundamentally rewrite" it to meet your guidelines. I am not promoting or advertising but just simply putting the information out there about this resort. I would be glad to rewrite or revise it, but please do not delete it.

Hi. I removed the deletion notice from Ozark outdoors and gave the article a quick edit. This might not be enough however to prevent someone re-adding the notice. To keep the article you should edit it so that it reads like an encyclopedia article rather than an informal story. Also, it is important to add some references which are not just the companies own web page. Mentions in the media are usually a good start. When you leave a comment on a talk page you can end with four tildes like this: ~~~~ to sign and date it. Thanks. --Bucephalus (talk) 22:17, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Ozark outdoors has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 22:44, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. Request reason:

First of all, I live in the Ozarks of Missouri which some people say is “a whole different world.” This is where Ozarkworld came from. Second of all, there are beautiful and amazing places and things that can only be found in the Ozarks, none of which are on Wikipedia. I was simply trying to inform others about places and things in this region. I had no idea it was so difficult to inform others. Now I learned that this is not at all worth it. I have to jump through hoops just to post one thing! I researched for quite some time the history of Ozark Outdoors in order to post an accurate informative article about this resort. I used to love Wikipedia, but now I will never return to this site or any other site associated with Wikipedia. Ozarkworld (talk) 05:31, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

"I will never return to this site" indicates that this is not an unblock request. --Kinu t/c 06:30, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
