This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

The comment the reviewer left was:

MusicBrainz and Discogs aren't reliable sources since they mostly use user generated content. The In Reach site isn't an independent source, since it's an interview. The UKF site doesn't even mention Garvey or Quartz at all. Please provide at least 2 sources that meet the general notability guidelines, or show that Quartz meets one of the other notability criteria for musicians before submitting the draft again. Thanks!

The article Quartz (musical artist) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

I see that you've got a draft with some sources already on the go about this subject - you could think about adding some of those sources to this article? Thanks for uploading File:Quartz Discogs Artist Photo.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Mako (musician) moved to draftspace[edit]
