RE:Please check my 1st Wikipedia page, thanks

[edit]

Heey, I am glad to help, first your doing a good job, and hope that you are enjoying editing wikipedia, second, your use of edit summery is a great thing to start with. The articles looks good and well referenced, but there is a small note about the external links in the leading paragraph, this shouldn't be there and should be moved under section titled external links, another notice, is that you add a "[" after your <ref> tags, and it appears in black and of no use as you can see, so you can remove them, after all, your doing good, keep it up, and Always remember I can help in whatever you need, whenever you need :-) MaenK.A.Talk 15:08, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And if you want me to do these changes, I will :-) MaenK.A.Talk 15:14, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article ZWAR has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Album of non-notable band. No indication of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Danger (talk) 22:46, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of ZWAR

[edit]

A tag has been placed on ZWAR requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Danger (talk) 19:06, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please explain to me why this page has been targeted for deletion? Thank you. To the best of my abilities I have tried to adhere to Wikipedia rules, and as I stated in the edit summary notes earlier today these artists most certainly are notable. One half of this due is an extremely successful and renowned drummer, who as well as a hugely successful career within the band King Crimson also has many other hits records under his belt with other bands, (including several number 1 selling singles!) The other member, Markus Reuter, is well documented across Wikipedia for his artistic achievements, and together as 'Tuner' these artists command a large following. Given all of these factors I do not understand why you wish to delete the page, but would be very grateful if you could take on board all that I have outlined here, and enter into some dialogue with me should you have further questions. Thank you in advance. Overeasy456 (talk) 20:35, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
