Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to AMBER Alert have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Meters (talk) 05:41, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Charles Williams. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Stop adding this material. The claim that he founded the AMBER alert system is unsourced and contradicted by the rest of the article, and it looks like you have just added it to push the book and promote him. Even if he is associated with AMBER alert teh material on his family and his facebook page is completely inappropriate. }} Meters (talk) 17:54, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Charles Williams. Meters (talk) 17:57, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't understand then ask, because if you add this again you will likely be blocked. Meters (talk) 17:57, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked you from editing Wikipedia for several weeks. When the block expires, please keep in mind that adding promotional material (eg - for the pastor and his church) you will receive a permanent block from editing. Mindmatrix 20:14, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
