The overall organization of your draft makes sense, so you're on the right track. Here are a few aspects to consider as you revise:

  • make sure to proofread carefully, for example, shepard instead of shepherd and the possessive fresco's instead of plural frescoes (I know this can seem nit-picky, but you don't want your entry to seem half-baked after working so hard on it)
  • more typical to give date years "1 AD through 500 AD" as "first through fifth centuries CE."
  • use over instead of > symbol
  • Maybe Location doesn't need its own category?
  • Also, the second part of renovation, which explores the paintings, should get it's own section and be expanded. The challenge with expanding it is the research seems to be in newspapers rather than art history books and journals. The NYT and Telegraph are credible as newspapers go, but you need to find at least some material written by experts on the topic. This is important, and if you're not sure how to do this make an appointment with me ASAP and I can coach you through the process.

Please touch base with any questions!

You might consider adding a location of the Catacombs a picture of a map. Also in the location section the first catacombs should be capitalized. I did like the fresh and relevant sources you found.Numouno (talk) 10:39, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You've done a good job finding sources. It would be great if you could find some more articles or sites to reference in talking a bit more about the restoration process. A couple of suggestions, editing-wise: Perhaps rather than "in 1593 by Antonio Bosio, an Archaeologist," you could say "by archaeologist Antonio Bosio." and add a link to his Wiki page if there is one. Also, maybe "a form of porous limestone" would sound a bit better than "a form of limestone that is porous". — Preceding unsigned comment added by BethanyJJohnson (talkcontribs) 20:36, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I like that you were able to find some pictures for the catacombs, and you seem to have a fine grasp on footnotes! Still learning here. The phrase "cemetery that were named after the Domitilla family that had initially ordered them to be made" while correct, comes across as a little stunted. I'd suggest revisiting that. I'd suggest making your categories in a larger font like a heading, I believe there should be a preset that does so. Lastly, it's a bit nitpicky but I'd make sure your references are formatted correctly at the bottom before submitting your final version. NCekoric (talk) 06:05, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Just checking in, email if you have questions regarding incorporating the sources we discussed in our meeting on Saturday. Also, I'm not seeing the Unit 2 Editing a Wikipedia entry (1 pt), so please email if I'm just overlooking it. Thanks!
