Pedro I of Brazil

[edit]

Hello, Othermouth. That's a common 20th and 21th Century mistake: royals had no "last names". Pedro I has been called "Bragança e Bourbon", his son Pedro II as "Bragança e Habsburgo" and on and on. They did not have the name of the Royal and Imperial Houses to which they belonged in their names. Check on google books on 19th Century sources and you will see that. I understand you are new around, but you must understand that articles need sources. --Lecen (talk) 02:38, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
