DYK
[edit]I nominated two articles that you created for DYK at Template:Did you know nominations/Joy Parr as a double nomination. SL93 (talk) 01:03, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Cheers! Thanks for letting me know Other justin (talk) 20:04, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- The lead shouldn't state new information that isn't the body of the article. Just letting you know that I kept your text, but I just repasted it into the bodies of the articles. SL93 (talk) 20:51, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Alright I'll take another look. Thanks for the heads up Other justin (talk) 03:57, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Joy Parr
[edit]On 17 August 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Joy Parr, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Society for the History of Technology gave Canadian historian Joy Parr a medal for lifetime achievement in technology history and awarded her book Sensing Changes the Edelstein Prize? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Joy Parr. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Joy Parr), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Citation parameters
[edit]When you recently edited the Professional Women's Hockey League article, you rearranged the order of parameters in some, but not all, instances of {{Cite web}}, such as bringing |date=
forward and pushing |website=
back. I'm wondering if there's a particular reason for this, or is it just personal preference? — AFC Vixen 🦊 08:31, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- You know, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure how that happened! I don't have preferences about this and it wasn't my intention, ha. On another note, I didn't mean to be overly aggressive in removing citations. In my view, some of it appears excessive for what is very uncontroversial information (i.e. team X plays in X arena). But, I'm happy to defer. I appreciate your work on the article—I think it's looking better all the time. Other justin (talk) 18:58, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Template:2010–11 WHL trades
[edit]Did you mean to remove Template:2010–11 WHL trades from the article? Gonnym (talk) 10:16, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
- No! Thanks for the notice—I will put it back in there. Appreciate it. Other justin (talk) 13:14, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
Thanks!
[edit]Thanks for participating in the June 2024 backlog drive!
You scored 255 points while adding citations to articles during WikiProject Reliability's first {{citation needed}} backlog drive, earning you this citation barnstar. Thanks for helping out! |

[edit]Hi, I found a recent discussion between you and Dan Carkner about The Tyee. There is a discussion tangentially related on the Taiwan News talk page with respect to The Tyee. You don't have to join, but it can be good to receive inputs from editors not involved in the past. Vacosea (talk) 23:57, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
