Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Otelcon. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Maronda homes, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Maronda Homes. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! The specific concern with your article is that it's too PR-focused including if not intended, because the sources are only still mere business announcements and mentions and thus our policy WP:What Wikipedia is not applies. Please also note that if you're an employee or otherwise involved, you must state so. For example, the two newspaper articles are in fact only local announcements so, it's in these cases, if there's no better to add, then it's still unconvincing for notability. SwisterTwister Although i just typed TwistedSister and had to delete it lol. I understand your concern with it being too PR focused however I have to say I really tried to keep it as unbiased and neutral as possible which i am being. I created the page because during our home buying process in the pittsburgh area we researched many builders and couldn't seem to find to much info on maronda homes, that is not the reason we didn't use them. But the other builder we went with has a wikipedia page so i figured why should maronda and s&a homes. Creating the page was one of my ways to expose more info to potential people looking for more info on the company. I also plan to create a page for S&A homes but before i do that i would like to make sure i have a full understanding of what Wikipedia is looking for. Should i locate more creditable sources? The local papers are pretty big publications and i would with out a doubt consider them creditable. Their no NYtimes but they are legit brick & mortar establishments in pittsburgh for 100+ years. I don't think i am going to find too much in terms of bignames like NYtimes because their not in NY. Could this fit the non-PR related ^[2]^[3]

In this case, unfortunately no, because the first one is simply a local business announcement and the second and third are from known PR webhosts; it's in that case that it's simply too soon for the company and, while other articles exist, our standards have especially changed and so any other articles will be closely examined for any necessary changes.
