Hi Ossky. Just wanted to check in with you - you are pursuing this content pretty avidly. Do you have some relationship with the lab in Brazil or with any company working to bring this to market? (I work on COI issues as well as content about health in Wikipedia) It is not a big deal if you do - it is just something that needs to be disclosed and managed per the WP:COI guideline. You can reply here. thanks. Jytdog (talk) 05:33, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have met the PI of the Brazil studies at conferences, heard his talk, and read his papers. I don't want to appear "avidly", though. I thought this is an interesting topic to include in the W. page. Compared to contributions from others in the Research section, I thought that intranasal perillyl alcohol results are at least as promising. Don't like that they should be reduced to one short sentence, especially in comparison to these other sections (gene therapy, immunotherapy) which are fairly elaborate in comparison (and haven't proven their value in the clinic). Just wanted to start making sensible and potentially interesting contributions to science in W. here and there. Apparently, this has been a rough start; I did not expect this to be such a contentious issue. Thanks for checking in. Ossky (talk) 21:48, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your kind reply. Thanks for explaining that you know the PI. Would you please respond to the part of my question about being connected to NEONC Technologies, Inc.? Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 22:05, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
