Proposed deletion of The Albanian Elites

The article The Albanian Elites has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article is a mess on several counts: it appears to be a personal essay and research, which tries to connect several unrelated factoids into a narrative, whose exact purpose is unclear. The subject is supposed to be Ottoman-era Albanian elites who "worked together" for the goal of Albanian autonomy, but such is never proven or even mentioned in the actual article, which is a jumble of facts that are not correlated to each other. It contains several sources that are so generically cited (no page numbers) as to be unverifiable, and a number of low-quality (websites) or non-existent (404 error) sources. Fully half of it is devoted to criticizing communist-era Albanian historiography, and mostly without sources, given as the editor's opinion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
