Quantity in species articles

Hi there - just a note that the standard style of species articles on Wikipedia is to refer to it in the singular ("The plumage of the female Kittlitz's plover is..."). Please don't rephrase these to plural forms. Cheers! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 07:27, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
