Changes to Freemasonry
[edit]I am very open to any discussion as to how to make the Freemasonry article better (best done on that article's talk page)... but I do have a problem with the edits that Frenchmason made. For one thing, the the topic is noted for being controvercial, and, as such, any major edits really should be discussed before they are made. For another, despite the controvercial nature of its topic, the article has enjoyed a fairly stable form for a while. That means there is a degree of consensus for the current version. That too should indicate a need to discuss changes before making major edits. Now, consensus can and does change with time and new information... so I am not trying to say that the article should be frozen in time. I am simply saying that it should be discussed and worked on at the talk page first. Finally, his edits removed factual cited information... as such it seemed as if they were POV vandalism. If I have made this assumption in error, I appologize. Thanks. Blueboar (talk) 22:17, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
