Popup failure
[edit]The same thing happened to me maybe less than a minute later. The popup bar needs a revert revert link, or maybe a revert^n command... :D Quamaretto 21:38, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
No worries. Actually, there was nothing wrong with your edit - we both hit the button at the same time. The reason both edits showed up was because I reverted a bit further back than you. (The previous editor was a self-reverting vandal, so in fact there's no difference between the versions we reverted back to!) Keep up the good work. Waggers 14:26, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Oh, by the way - I've noticed that Popups gives a more detailed edit summary if I revert from the page history rather than the dif view. I don't know why that is, but it might be a handy tip! Waggers 14:26, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
well, I didn't put that much thought into it, but it was awfully POV... glad you're keeping an eye on the page! bikeable (talk) 19:28, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Vandals
[edit]Yeah, this one seems singularly focused, and the articles s/he's likely to target are probably mostly already on my watchlist. Thanks for keeping your eyes open! -Seth Mahoney 00:09, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Sputnik 1
[edit]You were wrong to revert me. Please revert it back to 07:07, 8 March 2006 Cmapm. It's pre-vandal version.
Hello. What changes are you speaking about? Cmapm 17:55, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
You were right to report the offensive username to WP:AIV; note that it is a request for administrator intervention, so any incident you feel needs an admin, feel free to report it. Cheers and good job vandal-whacking! ^_^

I'm kinda new at this and I think I am trying to get the hang of "Wikified" being breif and to the point and so at a glance someone might see if they would be interested in reading it. The one thing I would have added though... I am not sure how to put it in this or other books by Farmer or other ones is to say that the book is Out of Print or Hard to Find. I do appreciate valuabe editing advice though such as you gave. --merlinus 22:14, 12 April 2006 (UTC)Melinus--merlinus 22:14, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit]HI,
I changed youre 'delete' to a 'nn-group' it seamed more appropriate. Orangutan 18:17, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- No worries dude, just doing a late night run through the new articles, getting a bit cut and paste happy with the deletes, so much crap to sort through. Appreciated and well spotted. Jachin 18:19, 19 May 2006 (UTC) (Syndicated)

[edit]About the Allen Langenhuizen vandal, you should warn on the talk page and point to WP:BIO (I just did this). Persistent vandalism after that warning could lead to blocking. Kaisershatner 16:37, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Kabbalah edit
[edit]Hey, just to let you know that I am not the user who messed with the Kabbalah page - I think someone else must have the same IP address as me. I hope I'm not in danger of getting banned if they carry on making bad changes.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
