Proposed deletion of Alec Bryant

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Alec Bryant, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Alec Bryant. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. BanRay 17:41, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Erith. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. BanRay 17:48, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alec Bryant

[edit]

Hello. I have declined the nomination for speedy deletion on the article for Alec Bryant but have instead proposed that the article be deleted as I am unable to verify that Alec Bryant exists. In particular, Bryant does not appear in the Red Star Belgrade squad list for any season from 2005-06 to now when I check Footballdatabase.eu. If you have a source showing that Bryant has played for the Red Star first team, add to the article as soon as you are able otherwise the article may be deleted after five days. Kind regards, --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 18:49, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The {{hangon}} tag is only used when there is a speedy deletion tag on a page. Since the speedy deletion tag was removed, there is no need for a hangon tag. Thanks, --Bonadea (talk) 10:43, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article was deleted as G3 - Vandalism. It is a hoax as it does not show in the Red Star Belgrade roster, and no ghits. Editor should prove its existence and notability if he wants to include it in WP. -- Alexf42 17:12, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Samir Nasri 593827.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Samir Nasri 593827.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:54, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding your user page to Wikipedia categories. If you persist, you risk being blocked. --Bonadea (talk) 15:48, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Only1k slim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
