Welcome! Hello, Omnicompanies, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Adam Hill, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Bgwhite (talk) 06:06, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Adam Hill, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Bgwhite (talk) 06:06, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Omnicompanies, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Sorry for the late reply, I was away from my computer over the weekend. I am connected with user|Perikool he is a colleague of mine, he was trying to edit the Admin Hill posting to try to adhere to the Wikipedia guidelines. I assure you that we are trying to comply to the Wikipedia guidelines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Omnicompanies (talkcontribs) 15:08, 11 July 2011
  • Could someone help me resolve this issue please. This was my first posting to Wikipedia, I'm really new at this. It would be greatly appreciated if i could get my username resolved. Thanks in advanced.
  • Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a business or people listing directory, and is not for promotion of any kind. Please read the guideline on WP:Conflict of interest. If unblocked, what sort of edits would you make, which would not be about your company or its people or associated companies?

{{admin help}} * My goal is to produce neutral, reliably sourced and authentic content that isn’t misconstrued. Edits would be aimed at revising content to defer the perception this was composed to advance outside interests. Like many of the other Chief Executives showcased throughout wikipedia, it’s my goal to exhibit more candid personal information on the basis that this is used for encyclopedia purposes and not for advancing outside interest. Notable changes would tailor content towards his birthplace, scholastic endeavors, hobbies and notable affiliations. I respect Wikipedia’s protocol and want to comply accordingly.

Okay... Well, I think that this is to get un-blocked but it will not do it like that, you need an administrator's help, so instead, you put {{admin help}}, also, you need to pick another username (more info). Just change {{helpme-helped}} to {{admin help}}. I hope that it is useful. ~~EBE123~~ talkContribs 01:21, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The best thing to do is to abandon this account and begin editing as tyendrowich or some other name. The only reason for requesting a change in user name is to ensure that you get credit for the edit you made as Omnicompanies. That might make sense if you had hundreds but you only have 18, so it isn't worth the bother. Start a new account, mention on the user page that you also edited as Omnicompanies, and then make sure to make non-promotional edits. It's that easy.--SPhilbrickT 17:58, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
