Countervandal work
I decided to be bold and add you to the CV membership on your userpage. You're welcome to remove it if you don't want it there. Keep up the good work, OhNoitsJamieTalk 00:37, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Archie Gemmill
Hi there, I notice you had edited bits of Archie Gemmill; we must have been there at roughly the same time. I added a clean up tag; I felt some of the content was worthwhile, but the inclusion of the referencing was done to a poor standard, hence why I flagged clean up. I have noted that on the talk page there and hopefully the ranter came come back without an anonymous contrib and do the links/refs properly Ianguy 09:10, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- I agree that there is some useful content there, and the "rant" label was just a quick and short-sighted explanation for my edit (which probably stemmed from what I thought was a loaded statement, "... famous for scoring one famous goal ... In fact the goal is so famous that it completely overshadows that which within others would be celebrated"). I still feel it looks more like a commentary or sports article than what is expected of an enyclopedia. If the editor comes back and fixes it, I'll be happy to go along with it. -- Omicronpersei8 09:15, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
