Notability of Dunk Ryders Records
[edit]A tag has been placed on Dunk Ryders Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 22:55, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Dunk Ryders Records
[edit]I've just looked over the deleted revisions of the article. The record label has only released one single and hasn't really been covered in independent secondary sources, according to the article, which doesn't make it notable under Wikipedia's organization notability guidelines. I would be willing to undelete the article for a deletion review; that will get the opinions of multiple people. Thanks for your contributions, and I'm sorry for causing you trouble. Best regards, Keilana(recall) 03:15, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Dunk Ryders Records
[edit]Well, first off, welcome to Wikipedia. I'm sorry your start here has been a little rocky...having hours of work deleted on sight is certainly not the sort of welcome I would want. That said, I agree with Keilana's comments above. We (and that "we" now includes you) are an encyclopedia, so we're trying to cover noteworthy subjects, and the best way to ensure that subjects are noteworthy are to see examples of secondary source material talking about them. When I look up Dunk Ryders Records on Google, I come up with pretty much nothing, which indicates that it's just not that notable at the current time. Still, don't be disheartened. New contributors are always welcome, and I'm sure your edits will be gladly accepted elsewhere on Wikipedia. SaveThePoint (talk) 08:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
If you are not done with a new article you have created, please place the {{underconstruction}} tag on it. This will avoid confusion between editors. I have added it to the Soundz article for you. Thank you. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 23:48, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Re: One Chance
[edit]Please provide proof that the single was released (from a reliable source, like an established store or a magazine article). There has been so much speculation and rumor added to this article that I'm going to remove any claims like that that aren't backed up with a verifiable reference from a reliable source. - All those links (including the picture on their website) are for the album Private—not a single—which was scheduled for release Nov 2006 but was pulled at the last minute. A photo of a CD cover is not proof; anyone with a computer can make a CD cover, even for something that doesn't exist. So many One Chance tracks have leaked from that album I wouldn't be surprised if what you have is a bootleg (especially if it was only available "via special order").
