With respect, going to her personal website and contacting her about her fame is precisely what we are not permitted to do here. To have an article, we would have to show that Stephanie Weller is Notable - we do this with reliable sources, independent of the subject, that show what she has done or is doing that makes her notable. We also have criteria specific to different types of subjects - WP:ATHLETE is the relevant one here, I think, and it has provisions for gymnasts here - and, in this case, Ms. Weller does not (yet!) meet those requirements. Once her career has taken off, and media outlets such as magazines and newspapers have taken note, then an article might be appropriate. I should also direct you to our conflict of interest policy. Since you are a close friend of Ms. Weller, it's not entirely appropriate for you to write an article about her - once she becomes more obviously notable, others will take up the task for you.
