Hello--

I am new to Wikipedia, as of today. I am a student who is interested in Oklahoma women, particularly those who have served in the Oklahoma legislature. I recently noticed how severely deficient the category page for women who have served in the Oklahoma legislature is and was hoping to contribute by creating a page for many of the women who have served. If I need to change my username, I will, but I chose it because this is what I plan to focus on on here.

Thank you-- Okwomen (talk) 19:42, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Okwomen. I have contacted the user who placed the above message on your talk page, to try to find out why he thinks your username violates the username policy. Personally, I do not see a problem with it. Questwolf (talk) 22:29, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Hannah Atkins, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.library.okstate.edu/scua/collect/atkins/index.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Potential articles

[edit]

I've been adding external links to articles that have entries in the Oklahoma Encyclopedia of History and Culture and making sure those articles are in the Oklahoma WikiProject. As I come across articles that haven't yet been created on the English Wikipedia I've been adding them to this page. There are quite a few notable women from Oklahoma that are on the list that don't have articles yet. I thought you might be interested in it. Narthring (talkcontribs) 18:40, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
