A belated welcome!

[edit]
Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Offrhodes. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Yngvadottir (talk) 15:51, 11 February 2014 (UTC) Yngvadottir (talk) 15:51, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Offrhodes: I was sorry to see that nobody had welcomed you to Wikipedia, or informed you that your article, Stony, had been nominated for deletion. The discussion is here: WP:Articles for deletion/Stony, and is scheduled to run until 16 February. I think I have managed to demonstrate that it should be kept, and thank you for writing the article! However, you may want to speak up at the deletion discussion yourself; and in future please note that you should always include at least one reference to a reliable source, especially on an article on a living person. A list of his official website and social media outlets is not sufficient; note that I added newspaper articles, which are the kind of thing we like to see to demonstrate notability. (And no, they do not have to be in English, although English-language sources should be included where they exist.) I hope the links above will give you the information you need about our rules and guidelines, and thank you again for writing us an article; I hope it won't be the only one.
