Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "OfficialHMV", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it suggests shared usage. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. To clarify, usernames that have "official" in them are often used by a representative of the named person, and not the named person themselves. If you are "HMV", I would suggest changing your name to something that does not have "official" in it. 331dot (talk) 10:20, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I second this concern. Your username, in combination with your edits, suggests a relationship with HMV. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:31, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I actually thought HMV was someone's initials; if it is the name of a company, you also need to change your name because your username must identify you as an individual user. 331dot (talk) 21:33, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you.
