Ways to improve Predestination in Catholicism
[edit]Hello, Oct13,
Thank you for creating Predestination in Catholicism.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Citing the Catechism does not give notability to this teaching. What is needed are references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

[edit]Hello, I'm Iskandar323. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Criticism of Muhammad, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Suffice to say, religious websites should not be your go-to for reliable information. Primary religious texts can also not be used as standalone sources - they need to be backed by secondary analysis. Iskandar323 (talk) 08:10, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

Original holiness moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Original holiness, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:40, 26 December 2022 (UTC)

Freedom of Religion -> Catholocism
[edit]This edit of yours, changing the woird "tradsition" to "art" caught my eye. That seemed a pretty significant change, so I checked the cited supporting source. In there, I did not find support there for either "tradition" or "art". With respect to that supporting source, this strikes me either way as WP:OR. I found seveeral similar examples in that section -- it looks to me as if the content in this example and in other parts of that section are more interpreting the sources cited than paraphrasing them -- and unsupported interpretation in WP:WIKIVOICE is OR. I just came across this in passing and, though it seems to me that {{fv}} and {{or}} tags are called for, I have not tagged either this assertion or the other ones I saw as problematic -- I simply don't want to get drawn into a discussion about religion. I take it from other comments on this talk page that you may be motivated to look into this and to make edits needed to improve it, so please consider this a heads-up from an editor without much topical expertise. It could be that other supporting sources more directly on point regarding some assertions in this section need to be added instead of or in addition to the currently cited sources. Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Mortal sin in the Catholic Church
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Template:Mortal sin in the Catholic Church requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2022 August 6#Template:Mortal Sins According To The Catholic Church. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. . Â Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:35, 8 January 2025 (UTC)- You have continued to make disruptive edits, and have been cautioned for this repeatedly. Instead of meaningfully engaging with the other editors who have objected, you have just carried right on. While your article editing privileges may at some point be restored, for now you will need to stick to actually discussing on talk pages. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, not a solo effort, and it is expected that editors will engage with concerns raised. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:41, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
