Also, I note there's already an article titled Earl of Orkney - I'd suggest that your material on Earldom of Orkney ought to be merged there. Cheers! sjorford #£@%&$?! 08:43, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
Hey
[edit]Hey.
I'd no idea that Faroese was your mother tongue. Somehow, it escaped me. You may or may not want to check out the Faroese version of Wikipedia. --Node 10:27, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
- Don't feel bad that it escaped you: I have spent most of my life in the States. And yes, I am aware of the Faroese version of Wikipedia and hope to help expand this. ThanX!--Mike 14:38, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
Re: Bev Doolitlte and artist articles
[edit]- You can search for categories. The category Western artists does not exist, but that's okay. American artists is more specific and thus more appropriate than Western artists. There is no need for both. --Der Sporkmeister 02:22, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
Feel free to take a look at my effort at French copyright law and improve it in any way possible! I don't do much legal work on Wikipedia, and I know precious little about aviation law! My current legal project is the French case LICRA c. Yahoo and its US implications (the First Amendment arguments are still going on). Thanks for the offer, all the best, Physchim62 17:14, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

Orphaned public domain images
[edit]The following images were uploaded by you, but are currently not in use. They have been tagged as public domain (PD), either as PD-self or other PD claim. These unused PD images may be subject to deletion as orphans. You may wish to add them to an article, tag them for copying to WP commons {{Copy to Wikimedia Commons}} or if they are no longer needed, they can be tagged for deletion by you as {{db-author}}. If you have any questions, please leave me a note on my talk page. --Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 01:18, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Patricia Perrone has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Crocker date of birth
[edit]Hi, although your addition of Crocker's birthdate may be well-intentioned it actually violates WP:Bio as that information could be used to discover his identity and he has gotten death threats so wikipedia cannot violate his privacy. If that information becomes revealed in a reliable source then the issue can be revisited. Benjiboi 12:04, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Explicatus
[edit]An editor has nominated Explicatus, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Explicatus (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 14:29, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

The article Daves Rossell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Doesn't meet WP:NOTABILITY guidelines, specifically WP:PROF or WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
